Dear EWS Families,

 It has been a fantastic first week of school! We have watched our students become reacquainted with old friends and start building relationships with new ones. Teachers and students have been working together to build the foundation for a great year of learning.

 Upcoming Events:

 Next week is our first Parent Council meeting. If this is something you would be interested in attending, please join us at 6:30.

 We have two exciting programs being facilitated by Liz Ly, Director of Power of Humanity. On September 16^th our grades three and four students will be participating in the Bully and the Bystander program. On September 23^rd the grade 5 and 6 students will be participating in the Hate Hurts program. We are excited to work with Liz and our students to build a community of inclusion and safety.  Meet the Teacher Night is from 4:00 – 6:00 on September 24^th. We will send out more details closer to the event date. We look forward to seeing you there.
