Dear parents/guardians,
We had a fabulous week this past week at Erin Woods School. Our students celebrated kindness and inclusion during our Rainbow Day. Students engaged in making friendship bracelets, sidewalk chalk art and wore a rainbow to support our dedication to welcoming, caring, respectful and safe learning environments.
We also had a meaningful Indigenous People's Day assembly in which we sang songs, danced and shared how we have woven Indigenous ways of knowing and being into our learning throughout the past year.
Our week was capped off by a fantastic sports day, full of activities and a tug o war contest to celebrate and demonstrate the different fundamental movement skills that were learned in Physical Education.
Just a reminder that our volunteer tea will take place this coming Tuesday, June 25. Please use the link below to RSVP before noon Monday, June 24. It will take place in our learning commons from 11:00-11:45. We will be providing some snacks and refreshments.
