Dear Parents/Guardians,
We will be having our first School Council/Parent Association meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 6:30 pm in our Learning Commons. The council will be nominating and electing the new council for the 2024-2025 school year. All are welcome to attend, no experience is needed.
We will be participating in our annual Erin Woods Terry Fox Run on Thursday, Sept. 19 from 1:45-2:30 pm. The run will take place on the school field, all EWS families are welcome to come and join the fun.
The Terry Fox Foundation has created an online fundraising page for our school. We will be collecting donations until Wednesday, September 27. Here are some of the ways you can support your child for this year’s Terry Fox event:

- Click the link above to donate or search for our school name at terryfox.org
- There is no minimum donation, every dollar counts!
- Receipts are issued immediately to donors by email
2. Support your child’s “Try Like Terry” Challenge
- Help your child select a goal and fun activity to support their fundraising efforts
- Try one of the suggested activities online or come up with your own
- Share your activity on social media and tag others to join
We are very excited to be a part of this year’s Terry Fox event. This is our opportunity to “Try Like Terry” and go the distance for this year’s event. Please join us to support cancer research while building incredible school spirit for all of our students. Thank you in advance for your support!
