Dear EWS Families,
We want to thank all family members who attended our Truth and Reconciliation Assembly. The Grade 3/4 students did a tremendous job of educating our school community about the history and importance of this event.
Thank you to all families that donated to the Terry Fox Foundation, we as a school, raised over $625 for cancer research.
Running & Reading Club
Running and Reading club will not be starting until the beginning of November. We realize the Start to Finish program has connected with our community about the online opportunity, however, we will not be commencing our on site program until November. More communication will follow closer to the date.
Patrol Training
Grade 5 & 6 students willl start patrol training next week. Once ready, they will start to patrol the pedestrian crosswalks located on the NW corner of our school property before and after school.
Our Parent Association has organized a Kernels Popcorn fundraiser. Please look for the forms in your child's backpack. Popcorn order forms are due back on Friday Oct. 11. We thank you for support, as a generous percentage of the proceeds go back to our school.
