Dear EWS Families
Thank you to all to all the families who supported our Scholastic Book Fair. We have now earned over $1500 to spend on our Learning Commons.
We also want to thank our Parent Association for all their time and dedication in ensuring we had a successful Kernels Popcorn fundraiser. Their efforts helped raise a significant amount of money for our school community.
We will be celebrating Halloween during the afternoon of Oct. 31. Students are asked to bring their costumes to school in a bag in the morning. They will be given time to change into their costume before the afternoon events. We want to remind students to not bring prop weapons to school and that costumes should not be bloody/gory as we have many young students who might be frightened by overly scary costumes. Please note that we will provide alternative activities for all students who do not celebrate Halloween.
We want to wish a happy and bright Diwali to all our families who will be celebrating the Hindu festival of lights on October 31 and Nov. 1.
