Dear EWS Families
We had another wonderful Paws and Play event today. Students enjoyed engaging in different play-based tasks within their multigrade groups, a t-shirt draw and special treat helped cap off the event.
Please drive with caution in our school/playground zone throughout this winter season. We now have our patrols out on the cross and drivers should be driving slowly to ensure the safety of pedestrians and other drivers.
A reminder that swimming lessons for the following classes starts next week. They will run from Monday, Nov. 25 - Thursday, Nov. 28.

- Ms. Shott Room 6 & Mr. Kai Room 20 - 9:00-11:00 am
- Ms. Jones Room 19 & Ms. Vergara Room 5 - 9:40 - 11:40 am
- Ms. Snijders Room 8 & Ms. Collinge Room 9 10:20 am -12:20 pm
Students should arrive with a swimsuit, towel and full set of clothing. They will engage in their regular school schedule before and after their swim lessons.
We are hosting student learning conferences this week. the conferences will be student-led in Kindergarten and teacher-led Grades 1-6. The link for booking your conference time will be open on Monday, Nov. 25 at 9 am in MyCBE. Interpreters will be available for any families that need support with translation at the conference.

- Thursday Nov. 28 - 3:30-6:30 pm - Grades 1-6
- Friday Nov. 29 - 8:00-12:00 pm - K-6 (no school for students)
We will be hosting our Winter Solstice Stars and Snow Concert on Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 6:00-6:45 pm. Grades 1-6 will be performing at the event. Kindergarten students will not perform at this concert but will have their own evening concert in February. Please use the link below to book your free tickets. You will not need to present the ticket at the door, it is just to assist our team to know how many family members will be attending.
