Dear parents/guardians

We had a fabulous Kindergarten & Grade 1 celebration of learning. The students shared their learning about spring through art, poetry and song. Thank you to all the families who were able to attend. Our youngest learners were very proud of their presentation. 

We have lots of exciting field trips this week. The students will have the invaluable opportunity to engage in field based learning, which helps to anchor the learning that has taken place throughout the year. 

Upcoming events this week:

• Monday June 10 - Grade 1 field trip to Calgary Zoo
• Tuesday June 11 - Grade 1/2 field trip to Telus Spark
• Tuesday June 11 - School Council/Parent Association Meeting - 6:30 pm - learning commons. 
• Thursday June 13 - Kindergarten field trip - Calgary Farmyard

• Wednesday June 19 -  Rainbow Day
• Thurday June 20  - Grade 4/5 Field Trip - Forest Lawn Library and Pickleball Courts

• Friday June 21 - Sports Day
• Tuesday June 25 - Volunteer Tea
• Wednesday June 26 - Whole school pancake breakfast
• Thursday June 27 - Last day of school - classes end at 12 pm
• Thursday June 27 - Report cards open to families
• Friday June 28 - Appeals - 8:00-12:00 pm
